Akin to the Barbiecore trend, head-to-toe leather outfits appear to be having another serious style moment right now. And Katy Perry seems to be the trend’s biggest champion, as she was rocking not one but two monochrome leather looks in a multi-image carousel that she shared to her Instagram account on July 16th to promote Cynthia Lovely’s new song, “WOMANifesting.” And there’s no denying that she looked *incredible* in both!
In the first and second pictures, the 37-year-old “Harleys in Hawaii” singer can be seen wearing a skin-tight Saks Potts orange croc-embossed leather mini skirt, which she teamed with a matching orange leather jacket from the same brand. Her sleek raven locks are the perfect juxtaposition to make the orange shade pop; and we are obsessed with every single aspect of this look!

The mom-of-one accessorized with some leg-elongating tan knee-high boots (a great way to add class to a mini skirt, FYI) and an Hermès Birkin bag in a perfectly matching hue. No attention to detail was spared – and the second leather monochrome look was just as high fashion and wow-worthy, consisting of Ena Pelly hunter green straight leg leather pants and a matching green leather bustier top, which was cropped on either side at the bottom for some skin to subtly peek through.
Katy accessorized with the same Hermès Birkin 25 top handle bag, and gold Arielle Baron ‘Nemesis’ heeled sandals. A top-to-toe leather ensemble isn’t always easy to wear, but the American Idol judge definitely pulled it off!
