It’s about to get a lot more difficult for fans to keep up with their favorite reality TV family. After 14 years, Keeping Up With The Kardashians is ending with its last season airing in 2021.
Although there are many potential reasons behind the show ending (including Kanye’s presidential run), many fans are stuck wondering if Kourtney Kardashian is the real reason behind the show’s end.

Kim announced the news first, sharing the news on Instagram: "It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians. After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way."
Although Kim does not pin the blame on anyone, it does not seem like a leap to wonder if Kourtney's reluctance to appear on the show factored into the decision.
In October 2019, a video showed the family discussing the future of the show--and Kourtney did not seem too optimistic.
In the clip, Khloé asks her sister, "You would be happy if the show ended?"
Kourtney famously replied, "Yeah, who cares?"
Although Kourtney shared Kim's message on her Instagram story, the oldest Kardashian sister did not seem to have anything to add.
At the time, she wrote, "I will gather my thoughts and share them in a bit," but has not yet made any more concrete statements about how she feels about the show ending.
The other Kardashians definitely seem to have taken the news harder. In an inteview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Kris Jenner explained, "We had to tell the crew yesterday, so we were all crying, but I think Khloé...Khloé is the one who is taking it the hardest and hasn’t stopped crying since we announced."
Whether this will create bad blood between the sisters, we're not sure--but it definitely seems that there's more to the story, especially Kourtney's side of things.
