Khloé Kardashian just gave fans a first look at her adorable newborn son, and they couldn’t be more ecstatic. The Good American founder, 38, introduced the world to her second child, who she shares with ex Tristan Thompson, in the season 2 premiere of Hulu’s The Kardashians last week. In the latest episode, the long-awaited footage of the infant arrives after Kardashian announced that she and Thompson had welcomed their second child together via surrogate last month.
While fans will recall that Kardashian previously shared a video to her Instagram Story of the new baby crying, this video clip is the first time we’ve all got a proper look at the child, and he’s so precious! In the episode, viewers were updated on where Kardashian currently stands with her athlete ex Thompson after his higly publicized cheating scandal (they’re not together, but co-parenting). Fans also saw a sweet moment in the premiere when Kardashian and Thompson held their son, who was born on July 28th, for the very first time in the hospital.

While speaking to cameras, Kardashian said, “I am so grateful, it’s such a beautiful gift that we’re able to have.” She continued, “Ever since December, it’s been this dark cloud looming over me. Every single day, I’ve been feeling depressed and sad, and now that my son is here, I get to move on and I get to enjoy. It’s almost like I get to close that chapter and be done with this trauma and put it behind me.” She added, “Now I finally get to start the healing process. Now I get to start enjoying my life with two kids in it and figuring this out. This is gonna be day one, and this is gonna be the start of something positive and happy and beautiful.”
The reality star also shares daughter True, 4, with Thompson, and gave fans a clue as to what her son’s name might be. She said in the episode, “It’s going to start with a T. I mean, that’s really the only names I’ve been looking at.” Her mother Kris Jenner then chimed in with more name suggestions before offering one up that the famous family knows quite well. “We can name him Travis and then just have an easy three,” she joked, referring to Kylie Jenner‘s boyfriend Travis Scott and Kourtney Kardashian‘s husband, Travis Barker.

After welcoming Kardashian and Thompson’s son along with the surrogate mother at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on July 28th, Kardashian reflected on wanting Thompson there to meet his fourth child. She said to the cameras, “I’ve been on the fence about letting Tristan come to the hospital or not, but Tristan wants to be here, so I just figured why not let him come? I’ll never get this moment back.”
Kim Kardashian captured her nephew’s birth on camera, and was able to be there at her sister Khloé’s side. Due to COVID-19, not all of Khloé’s loved ones were able to be there, but she was seen introducing her baby boy to his sister True, grandmother Kris, and aunts Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian via FaceTime.

Khloé shares her son and daughter True with Thompson, who is also father to two sons — Theo, 9 months, with his former personal trainer Maralee Nichols and Prince, 5, with his ex-girlfriend, model Jordan Craig. As Khloé claimed in the newest episode, Tristan reportedly never told her about him fathering a child with Nichols, even as they were trying for their second baby. She alleged then began the embryo transfer for their second baby just days before Thanksgiving, and she “found out about Tristan’s situation the first week of December.”

Khloé’s family members in the premiere, including mom Kris, sister Kim and Kylie expressed their “disappointment” in Tristan as Khloé struggled privately with the news of his other child while she was expecting with the surrogate. The family, however, threw her a baby shower to celebrate her second child regardless, with Kim sweetly saying to her at the event, “There’s nobody that deserves happiness like you do. You can’t see it now but this baby is gonna bring so much love and joy and happiness in our lives… he will show you what real love is supposed to be like, and that’s all that matters.”
