Kim Kardashian doesn’t believe in the 1969 moon landing, a revelation she made on the most recent episode of The Kardashians. Citing her sources as “TikTok,” users were outraged with the mother-of-four for spreading misinformation. Keep reading for more information.
Kim Kardashian Doesn't Believe In The Moon Landing
On Thursday's episode of The Kardashians, Kim was speaking with her All's Fair costar Sarah Paulson when she shared her controversial take. While trying to convince Paulson to agree with her, she said, "I'm sending you, so far, a million articles with both Buzz Aldrin...and the other one," she said, referring to Neil Armstrong.
"This girl says, 'What was the scariest moment?' and [Aldrin] goes, 'There was no scary moment, cause it didn't happen. It could've been scary, but it wasn't, cause it didn't,'" Kim explains. She did admit that the astronaut has "gotten old" and now slips up with comments like that. But, she still doesn't believe it. "So I think it didn't happen," she says.
"Go to TikTok. See for yourself," she continued. "There's no gravity on the moon. Why's the flag blowing? The shoes they have in the museum that they wore on the moon is a different print in the photos. Why are there no stars?
This garnered so much media attention that NASA actually responded to the headlines. Acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy took the X, formerly Twitter, and wrote, "Yes, @KimKardashian, we've been to the Moon before...6 times!"

Social Media Reactions
Kim's comments have gone viral on social media and users are furious with her for spreading misinformation, and even more so for citing TikTok as a credible source. "She is spreading misinformation and it's dangerous," one person wrote. "Curiosity is good, but facts aren't up for debate. Moon landing happened—no TikTok needed."
"Why is a person who uses 0% of her brain famous?" another person asked.
"And she wants to be a lawyer?" another person asked.
"The sad part is kids will actually listen to her and believe her," another user pointed out.
"She should know about being fake," a fifth user joked.
