Kim Kardashian turned heads with her fashion choices while supporting her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix last weekend. However, while the reality TV star appeared ready to make a statement, some critics felt her glamorous outfits were too over-the-top for a racing event.
For one of her two looks, the mom of four wore a floor-length Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2003 dress featuring a pink base and colorful patterns throughout. The oriental-inspired corset design featured short cap sleeves, a chest cutout, and a plunging neckline. She completed the ensemble with strappy white heels, rosy-cheeked makeup, and a simple half-up hairstyle.
For her second look, the Skims mogul opted for a baby-pink floor-length gown with a high neckline and a sheer skirt. She styled her hair in a sleek, slicked-back bun and accessorized with a pink purse and heels.

Kim Kardashian Mocked Over 'Ridiculous' Floor-Length Dress At F1
After photos of Kim at the race circulated online, critics questioned whether her outfits were appropriate for the occasion.
“She always misses the mark. The sheer, body-hugging long dresses are boring and ridiculous,” one person commented.
Another wrote, “This is so ridiculous. Do they think they are attending a ball?” Others questioned her styling choices, with one asking, “What about hiring a stylist?”
“Beautiful dress, wrong occasion,” another person remarked, while someone else added, “It’s a circuit, not a catwalk.” One critic also commented that she was “wearing corsets and evening dresses in F1.”
But the fashion backlash wasn’t the only controversy surrounding Kim’s appearance at the Grand Prix. Social media users also jokingly speculated that she had brought the infamous “Kardashian curse” upon Hamilton after the Formula 1 driver reportedly struggled with exhaustion following the race.

Fans Joke Lewis Hamilton Is Under The 'Kardashian Curse'
Hamilton was reported to have felt extremely unwell and dizzy amid the intense heat and humidity at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. After the race, he was seen taking a knee and appearing exhausted while waiting for the mandatory driver weigh-in. Ferrari subsequently confirmed that he had received a medical exemption from post-race media duties and interviews.

As Hamilton recovered, some social media users playfully pointed fingers at Kim, invoking the so-called “Kardashian curse,” a long-running internet joke suggesting that men who date members of the Kardashian family experience a run of bad luck. The comments appeared to be speculation and jokes rather than evidence that Kim had anything to do with Hamilton’s condition.
