Kim Kardashian‘s parenting has come under fire a lot lately, particularly over the divisive way she is raising her eldest daughter, North West, who she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.
But the criticism over North’s increasingly grown-up fashion choices is only the beginning, as the internet is now slamming The Kardashians star after she revealed that she has a total of five – yes, five – nannies to help raise her four children. Keep reading to find out more…

Kim Kardashian Reveals She Has 5 Nannies For Her 4 Children
As well as 13-year-old daughter North, the Skims founder shares sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7, and daughter Chicago, 8, with the Yeezy designer. And in a recent interview with The Sunday Times, published on October 3rd, the 45-year-old reality star confirmed that she employs five nannies, with one on duty at a time and four others working on rotation. The revelation sparked quite a backlash online!
Despite having so much help, Kim insisted that she is still very hands-on when it comes to raising her children, revealing that she personally takes them to and from school every day and makes sure they all eat dinner together every night.
Describing her parenting style, she said: "I think I am an intermediate-strict parent." She went on: "I'm extremely patient and loving. I still have a kid sleep in my bed when they want. I read books with the kids every night."

Kim Kardashian Opens Up About North West's Growing Fame And Co-Parenting With Kanye West
The mom-of-four also spoke about how she and the "Gold Digger" rapper are navigating their children's lives in the spotlight, not just on social media and the family's reality show, but also as North pursues a career in music.
When asked about her children's exposure to fame, Kardashian admitted: "I do worry about it." She explained: "Each kid does what they're comfortable with. So, my little ones come around when I'm filming but they don't really do storylines."
Speaking about her eldest daughter, who recently performed her first solo concert, Kim said she has to "hold her back" more than the others. "North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back. All she wants to do is forward-facing projects."
She went on: "With her, since it's more music-related, that is something that her dad and I have better communication about. We make sure that we're aligned and that she's in projects that we both approve."

The Internet Slams Kim Kardashian For Having 5 Nannies
While North certainly gets her fair share of headlines, social media users had plenty to say about Kardashian's revelation that she employs five nannies, with critics taking to Reddit and YouTube to question how involved she really is in raising her children…
"Why have kids if you're going to have other people raise them? She doesn't have to work like most of us, she's very fortunate to have all the money in the world yet chooses to be away all the time," wrote one critic.
"5 Nannies = Absentee parent," declared a second, as a third slammed: "Ofc she has 5 nannies because it's clear she's not interested in raising them or loving them." "Has she been a parent at all?" questioned a fourth, while a fifth claimed: "She just takes them out for photo ops."
"Not if she needs an army of nannies, those kids are just props at this point, no different from Birkin to them tbh," echoed a sixth. "This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. She had kids as props, not to have an actual family," claimed a seventh, while an eighth called her a "neglectful mother."
A ninth asked: "Why have all these children if you don't want to be part of their life. She used a surrogate for most of them so this makes no sense." "Remember when she said people don't want to work these days… looks like people don't want to parent these days," quipped a tenth, followed by three sideways laughing emojis.
"Kim and Kanye are too selfish and should never have had kids. Hopefully the kids are getting love and attention from their nannies," wrote an eleventh.

Other Fans Defend Kim Kardashian
However, not everyone thought Kardashian deserved the criticism, with several social media users defending her decision to hire help and pointing out that there is nothing wrong with having nannies if she can afford them.
"If I was rich I would too," wrote one supporter. "Why are people so mean? She has nannies. So what," asked a second, while a third agreed: "I would have 5 nannies if I could afford!"
"Why is this scandalous? Rich people have nannies we all know that. One per kid plus someone to supervise/help out where needed sounds pretty reasonable for someone who could afford 50 nannies if she wanted," reasoned a fourth.
"Who wouldn't want a nanny to help with kids? Why are we still shaming women for needing help with things like child rearing when we all know how hard it is," asked a fifth, as a sixth wrote in her defense: "Kim has created employment for the people, from nannies to her company. You haters what are you doing for your community?"
