Kim Kardashian has now spent nearly 15 years in the spotlight and she recently took to social media to show just how much she has changed in that time. The 40-year-old reality star shared a beach throwback of herself, captioning the pic, “16 year old KK,” as she pouted in the sunlight–she certainly looks different now!

Kardashian has always been fond of posting photos at the beach, but this throwback veers away from her typical bikini pics, showing her staring serenely off into the distance just past the camera. Kim notably still rocks her classic pouty lips, but wore a much more angular set of eyebrows than her current shape.
Fans flocked to the comments to admire Kardashian’s natural beauty with one writing, “Been pretty your whole life 😍.” Another follower noticed, “You had a cartier bracelet before cartier bracelet was a thing.” Evidently, Kim has always been a style maven!
Kardashian then took to Instagram later in the week to show off her more traditional poolside pics, displaying her famous curves in an olive green bikini with her hair styled into two long and loose braids. She captioned the image, “Zone out and focus on you,” to which her sister Khloe responded, “Ok Keeks!!!!!! Hottie!!!!! In the zone ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Kim may look completely different now, but her sweet throwback is a nod to simpler times and a good reminder that even the most famous celebs started out as normal teenagers. She’s come a long way since 16!
