Fans React To Kris Jenner's 'Crazy' New Haircut For Oreo Ad—'Fire That Hair Person'

After Kris Jenner posted a new Oreo ad that she starred in on Instagram, her fans were quick to express their surprise at her appearance.

Many of them felt that the “momager,” 68, looked “unrecognizable” and that the clip was overly “filtered.”

The ad featured the reality star in a stylish red blazer with gold buttons, paired with shiny hoop earrings and a black top. Her spiky new hairstyle, reminiscent of the one she sported in the first season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, also raised some eyebrows.

Kris Jenner’s New ‘Do In The Viral Oreo Ad Reminds Fans Of Her Iconic ‘KUTWK’ Look

On January 17th, the Kardashians matriarch shared the ad with her 52.7 million IG followers. “How did we get here? Well, to answer that, I’d have to go back to the beginning,” Jenner said in the video while twisting one Oreo cookie. Then, the camera pivoted to show a stacked glass jar of them. “I better go warn the kids.”

Many users in Jenner’s comment section were quick to point out that her hair looked “different,” with some likening it to the 2007 KUWTK style she had during her family’s rise to fame on the E! series. “This hair is not it miss Krissy poo,” one wrote as another user added: “but this is the OG days Kris Jenner cut.” Someone else concurred: “it’s the hair from season one! Every real fan knows.”

Still, some deemed the mom of six’s tresses to be “crazy” as it was very teased, voluminous and choppier than usual. One even joked: “fire that hair person.” Another wrote: “Oh the season 1 Kris hairstyle,” as someone quipped: “Her hair reminding me of Alice Cullen from twilight.” She also got another famous comparison as a fan chimed in: “Bro I thought that was joan jett.”

Although the clip had a nostalgic quality to it, numerous comments drew attention to a peculiar aspect of Jenner's appearance, suggesting that there was something amiss or unusual about it.  "Is that AI or just a lot of filter?" one commented regarding her seemingly blurred complexion as someone else replied: "This is an AI commercial." One other added: "Is this AI Kris?" as another agreed: "Did.. did they ai kris jenner."

Jenner donned thick black liner, smokey eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, rosy blush, and a mauve lipstick in the advertisement aimed at promoting her upcoming Super Bowl commercial. Despite her intention of creating a funny and nostalgic feel, fans were fixated on her "airbrushed skin" and new (or rather, revisited) hairstyle, overshadowing the teaser's intended message. Jenner also has yet to respond to these "heavy filter" accusations.
