Mariah Carey showed off her iconic curves in a sultry, classic and bold little black dress while stopping by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert set! The Grammy winner, 52, was recently photographed by paparazzi in New York City while heading to the studio, and the “Fantasy” hitmaker rocked a low-cut, décolletage-revealing dress that also helped emphasize her famous figure and long legs with the help of a risqué high slit.

The long-sleeved black frock had a hemline that ended just above her ankles, and elegant lace adorned its plunging neckline. To complete her look, the “Always Be My Baby” singer added sparkly silver heels and wrapped a thick black belt around her tiny waist. While sitting down with host Stephen Colbert, Carey gave funny answers to the comedian’s classic “Colbert Questionert” game and also cleared up that she never actually called herself the ‘Queen of Christmas’ (even if everyone else might!)

The style icon dazzled up her ensemble even more with shimmering, thick silver hoop earrings, and tied her long, wavy caramel tresses in a glamorous half-up, half-down style with her hair parted to the side. As for makeup, the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” crooner rocked black liner, sky-high lashes, radiant rosy blush on her cheekbones, and topped it all off with a glossy pink lip color.

Carey was all smiles for the photographers, and also uploaded a comical TikTok video of herself in the same outfit soon after. In the clip posted for her 7.1 million followers on the app, Carey responded to a fun prompt from the Rockettes, who asked social media users to tell them that they were “obsessed with Christmas without telling” them that they were obsessed with the holiday. In her response, Carey hilariously pointed to herself and shrugged (we all know she’s the queen of Christmas!) as her epic rendition of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” played in the background.

Carey’s chic black get-up came days after she made headlines with her ab-baring W Magazine cover. For the publication’s latest issue, Carey posed in a skintight white tank top with unbuttoned, low-rise jeans (bringing us back to her 90s style days!) and shimmered with a blingy and gaudy silver charm necklace.

Carey flaunted her toned midsection and wore her long, signature wavy locks down and parted to the side for the photo. Naturally, fans couldn’t get enough! Carey posted several pictures from her W Magazine shoot in a round-up (with this one being first), and her devotees had a lot to say about the look. “This outfit is immaculate” one user wrote, while another added, “the queen of Christmas is looking stunning!” Others praised her “sculpted midriff” and “early aughts style. We couldn’t agree more. All we want for the holidays is a style guide from Carey— the eternal holiday season queen and fashionista!
