All-day breakfast at McDonald’s may be a thing of the past (R.I.P. to those late-night McMuffins), but what if we told you that a secret brunch item could be yours? It’s true; according to TikTokers, if you go to McDonald’s at the right time, you can get yourself a special sandwich that combines the best of both breakfast and lunch—you just have to know how to ask for it. This secret menu item is known as the McBrunch. Find all the details below.

Order the “McBrunch” for a secret menu sandwich

If you’re bummed that McDonald’s now stops serving breakfast at 10 AM, you’re not alone. Luckily, though, brunch is served a little later. According to TikToker @tommywinkler, a.k.a. “The Food Guy,” if you pull up to McDonald’s at the magical time of 10:35 a.m. (this is when the restaurant has started serving lunch, but the breakfast ingredients are still near the grill) you can order an off-menu sandwich called the McBrunch. This tasty concoction includes two cheeseburger patties, bacon, eggs, and a hashbrown, all sandwiched between sesame buns. Our mouths are watering!

While the McBrunch may be a secret menu item here in the U.S., it’s an official menu item over in Australia, where it’s called the “Big Brekkie Burger.” The only difference is that the Aussie version includes BBQ sauce. You could give this a try for yourself by ordering a side of BBQ with your McBrunch—or you can try one of their brand-new sauces.

There are a lot more McDonald's menu hacks where that came from. Other popular "secret menu" choices include a Fillet-o-Fish BLT and an 'Ultimate' Spicy Chicken Sandwich.

Keep in mind, though, that while some McDonald's employees may know what you mean when you order a "McBrunch" or any other secret menu item, others will need an explanation. Be prepared to tell the worker exactly what you want. The same goes for secret menu items at any restaurant, including the ever-popular Starbucks options.

Now, if you'll excuse us, we're going to go give this brunch sandwich a try.
