Despite getting engaged to Machine Gun Kelly last month and sharing the very intimate proposal with her Instagram followers, Megan Fox was still technically married to Brian Austin Green! Yikes! However, the 35-year-old Jennifer’s Body actress is now celebrating, as her divorce from her husband of almost ten years has now officially been finalized – and she couldn’t have been happier about it!
“Megan has moved forward with her life and is pleased with the outcome of the divorce settlement,” a source told Us Weekly. The source added that the Transformers actress is “thankful for the guidance she had during the divorce from her attorney, Laura Wasser.” FYI, Wasser is also currently working with Kim Kardashian in relation to her ongoing divorce from Kanye West, and has also previously represented Britney Spears, Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. Sounds like Megan is in great hands!
We don’t know what the exes have agreed in terms of spousal or child support, as that was reportedly settled out of court in October last year. We do, however, know that they both have joint legal and physical custody of their three sons, Noah Shannon, 9, Bodhi Ransom, 7, and Journey River, 5. Additionally, as they didn’t have a prenuptial agreement, it's believed that all of their assets will be split down the middle.
We bet that both Megan and Brian are happy to finally close this chapter and move on with their lives for good. We already know that the Johnny and Clyde star has moved on with 31-year-old musician MGK, real name Colson Baker, but the 48-year-old Beverly Hills 90210 actor has also moved on too, as he and 36-year-old Dancing with the Stars pro Sharna Burgess are expecting their first child together. (The new arrival will be BAG's fifth, as he shares 19-year-old son Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green with ex, Vanessa Marcil, as well as three sons with Fox.)
