If there ever was a good comeback year for Megan Fox, 2021 was definitely one of her most memorable— whether she made her romance with Machine Gun Kelly official, posed with Kourtney Kardashian or starred in thriller and action films. Even with just a few days left of the year, the actress isn’t done making headlines just yet.
In the sultry new trailer for the upcoming dark comedy film, Big Gold Brick, Fox strips down to a lacy black lingerie set with a silk floral shawl. She stars as Jacqueline, a former lawyer and unsatisfied wife of a man named Floyd, the subject of a biography. After seeing the trailer, we’re intrigued!

The film, which has a February 2022 release date, also stars Emory Cohen, Lucy Hale, Oscar Isaac and Andy Garcia, who plays Floyd, Fox’s husband. In the trailer, Fox is first seen opening her shawl to reveal her lingerie. In another scene, viewers hear Cohen’s character narrate that Jacqueline is “Floyd’s second wife” and a “former attorney” as Fox enters a hallway wearing a v-neck striped blouse, pencil skirt and stilettos.
Hale shared the official trailer with her 24 million Instagram followers last week. She plays Floyd's "daughter from his first marriage," and Kristen Wiig is cited as an executive producer along with Isaac. Big Gold Brick will be writer and producer Brian Petsos's directorial debut. For what we know about the plot, Cohen's lead character, Samuel, is enlisted to write Floyd's biography, and chaos inevitably ensues.
Fox is also set to star in The Expendables 4, scheduled for a 2022 release by Lionsgate. She will share the screen again with Garcia and fellow action film pros Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham.
Mark your calendars and catch Fox in Big Gold Brick, in theaters February 25, 2022. By the looks of her upcoming roles, next year might be just as newsworthy for the Jennifer's Body star as this year was!
