According to photos circulating online, Meghan and Ellen appeared to be in good spirits as they spent time together along with Ellen's wife, Portia de Rossi, at The Three Horseshoes, a pub near Burford, Oxfordshire on Monday, September 21. The trio was seen chatting and laughing during their afternoon outing, with Meghan opting for a casual look as she settled into her new surroundings in the U.K. While the Duchess has yet to make any official public appearances yet, an insider told People that she plans on being out and about as she settles into her new life across the pond.
The outing also brought together three longtime friends who were once neighbors in Montecito, California. Meghan and Prince Harry have remained close with Ellen and Portia for years, with Meghan appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2021 and the Sussexes attending the couple's vow renewal in 2023. Ellen and Portia made their move across the Atlantic in 2024, and now, just two years later, Meghan and Harry have joined them.
