Meghan Markle has found major success with her lifestyle brand, As Ever, selling jams, jellies, baking mixes, and teas. Meghan Markle’s As Ever Rosé

The Napa Valley Rosé went live at 8am PT / 11am ET on wine.asever.com and sold for $30 a bottle. For the first drop, bottles were only sold in sets of three bottles, half cases, and full cases. But it seems that Meghan had plenty of customers lined up, as her entire stock was gone in an hour.

Though she hasn’t commented on the success of her first foray into alcohol yet, As Ever did share an update on what’s coming next, saying that the rosé “marks the beginning of As ever’s thoughtful expansion into wine, with a Méthode Champenoise Napa Valley sparkling planned for the near future and additional varietals to follow.”

Social Media Reactions

Despite the reported success of the rosé, some users on social media simply don't believe it. "She sells out because she doesn't STOCK it!" one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "This is theatre for her brand and you're all falling for it."

<p>"More like the Duchess of Fake Stock if you ask me," wrote another.

Others users called it a "ponzi scheme," alleging that there wasn't even product to sell in the first place, while some users still weren't over the fact that she dropped a new alcoholic beverage on the day of Princess Diana's birthday.

"Imagine launching a wine brand on the birthday of your mother-in-law, who was killed by a drunk driver," one person wrote in an Instagram comment. "What a lovely way to celebrate the occasion."
