Michelle Obama has been in the headlines lately as divorce rumors between her and former President Barack Obama have been circulating. However, she’s made a lot of moves to shut those down, and one of her recent Instagram posts is proving that her family is standing strong together.
The former First Lady shared a new and rare family picture of her, Barack, and their two daughters in honor of their youngest, Sasha’s, 24th birthday. It was reassuring for fans of the powerful couple, as Michelle’s been working hard to let everyone know that she and Barack have not split, but are simply navigating life out of the White House. Michelle Obama Shares Rare New Family Photo In Honor Of Daughter's Birthday On Instagram
The mom-of-two took to Instagram on June 10th to post a recent photo of herself, Barack, and their two daughters, Malia and Sasha, in honor of Sasha's 24th birthday. It was a special treat for fans, as she's known to be keeping more recent pictures of her family more private after they departed the White House in 2017.
The family seemed to be in some sort of tropical setting, possibly on a vacation, as they were all dressed in nice, beachy clothes. Both Michelle and Barack could be seen with big smiles on their faces as their grown-up daughters stood smiling between them.
"Happy birthday to my sweet girl, Sasha!" Michelle captioned her photo.
"Can't believe how quickly time has flown. I'm so proud of the woman you've become. Love you always!"
While the Obama daughters have stayed out of the public eye in an attempt to live a slightly more normal life out of the spotlight following their dad's two terms as president, recent reports and info from Michelle have mentioned that Sasha is currently pursuing higher education after graduating from USC.

Fans React To The New Obama Family Photo After Michelle Shut Down Divorce Rumors
The photo came at a great time, as for a while, after Michelle did not show up to a few public events alongside Barack, including the inauguration of current President Donald Trump, people began wondering if there was trouble in their marriage. However, on her podcast, IMO, and other platforms, the 61-year-old has shut down divorce rumors, stating that people "would know" if she and Barack were on the outs, and that they're focusing on building their new life outside of active political work.
Seeing the new and upbeat family picture on Instagram made fans not only happy but also relieved to see that they were doing well.
"A beautiful and classy family," commented a fan.
"Your girls have grown into such beautiful young women!" added another.
"I know how proud you are of them."
"Much respect to the Obama family," wrote an Instagram user.
"OMG! The girls have gotten so big," added an enthusiastic fan. "We all miss you so much."
"My favorite White House Family," commented a user. "Miss you!"
While Mrs. Obama hasn't posted another recent family photo since that one, she has opened up about her personal life a bit more in podcast interviews, telling famous musician Bruce Springsteen that him and his wife, Patti, are their "couple mentors," for the way they stick together through thick and thin. Therefore, it seems she's done all she can to reassure the public that her family is doing just fine for now.
