Michelle Obama, 59, turned heads when she attended the first day of the U.S. Open 2023 on Monday, August 28th, wearing a striking strapless denim dress by Oscar de la Renta, featuring a flattering, feminine A-line silhouette and a sweetheart neckline.
The former First Lady paired her dress with a cropped black cardigan, which is a great trick for wearing dresses at the beginning of the fall season and keeping out the chill, as well as to add more dimension to an outfit. Although her cardigan hinted that fall was on its way, she kept the rest of the look summery by accessorizing with Chloé 'Glyn' wedges and painting her toes a summery yellow color.

After wowing fans in an asymmetric high-slit Versace dress on the MTV VMAs red carpet on September 12th – and of course, walking away with a super-impressive nine out of the 11 awards she was nominated for – Taylor Swift put on a leggy display in an on-trend denim mini dress for the after-party!
The corset-style mini dress hails from EB Denim, and is made from upcycled vintage denim. The 'Polka Dress,' to use its proper name, features a fun and flirty pleated skirt and a lace up back, and Taylor accessorized it with some sky-high silver heels and luxurious jewelry, including two Melissa Kaye bracelets.

The 54-year-old Shotgun Wedding actress commanded all of the attention in a denim dress during a shopping trip in West Hollywood back in June, which shows that she was ever-so-slightly ahead of the trend. Are we surprised?! She wore an oversized floor-length denim shirt dress for the occasion (check out some pics here) which came in a very bold and bright blue denim hue and featured a very racy double knee-high slit. Wow!
The dress hailed from the Valentino Spring/Summer collection, but it's actually the perfect transitional piece to wear during the fall season thanks to its heavy fabric and long sleeves. The "On My Way" singer already made her denim dress autumn-ready way ahead of time by pairing it with black knee-high heeled boots and a Gucci brown leather shoulder bag, and she also kept the sun and paps at bay with some rose-tinted aviator sunglasses. For jewelry, she went for a dainty gold necklace and large gold hoop earrings, which were visible thanks to her effortless loose updo.
