Nicole Kidman is raising the temperature with her sultry new Vogue Australia cover!

The Oscar winner and style icon, 56, is the magazine’s latest cover star, and as seen in the main image, the Big Little Lies actress rocked a minidress with a low-cut sheer black lace neckline. The frock featured a ruby red skirt with a flirty thigh-skimming hemline.

Kidman also posed with a real, live black snake around her neck for the edgy shot. Naturally, fans can’t get enough and continue to rave about her shoot and style on social media.

To complete her look for the cover photo, the Eyes Wide Shut alum added fiery red-and-black oversized sunglasses. She also rocked French tip nails with black polish. As for her minimal makeup look, Kidman sported pink lip gloss and wore her blonde tresses down and styled into effortless waves.

Nicole Kidman Turns Up The Heat In A Low-Cut Lacy Dress While Posing With A Live Snake

A behind-the-scenes Instagram video from the photoshoot was shared by the publication, displaying Kidman’s daring attitude the snake slithered across her body. For several photos, she held it close to her tiny waist. In the post’s caption, Vogue Australia wrote: “Nicole Kidman is very careful about who she chooses to go on adventures with, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t go on them.”

After Kidman shared the cover in a post for her 9.9 million IG followers, they began sharing their thoughts in her comments section. “She’s an icon,” one wrote as another added: “A true (creative) artist who has kept herself relative within the aggressive machine of stardom.” Someone else replied: “Awesome Nicole, always surprising and amazing.” One other chimed in: “She’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she is the moment.”

In the cover story, the Moulin Rouge! star shared how she finds snakes to be "alluring," and how she is intrigued by the way "they slither and move." Kidman also said that she seizes the opportunity to learn when it comes to the shedding of snakes' skin. "You can become and try different things, all the time, which is what excites me," she said.

Regarding her career, she added: "I don't even see it as reinvention," Kidman said. "I think it's more like different facets that you discover that are in existence, but you are attuned to the discovery of them. Yes, I remain very open and still very passionate about what I do, and curious. And those elements haven't been dampened."

Kidman also discussed her role in the new Amazon Prime Video drama miniseries, Expats. Kidman stars as Margaret Woo, a character plagued with a burdening guilt and deep loneliness in Hong Kong in 2014. Last week, Kidman also wowed fans at the New York City red carpet premiere of her show.

The mom of three donned a chic backless Versace gown. The elegant number boasted a draped neckline, with a striking mint green lining and a seductive thigh-high slit. Kidman,  as fans will agree, is certainly on an epic style streak this winter, and we can't wait to see what she dons next!
