When Olivia Rodrigo, 18, isn’t busy making us want to dance our heartbreak away with iconic ballads like “driver’s license” and infectious pop-punk-y hits like “good 4 u,” she’s drawing our attention with head-turning, Y2k-esque outfits. Her latest early aughts-inspired ensemble centers around a pleated micro mini skirt with a camouflage pattern and a grungy cardigan with multicolor patchwork.

Of course, we also can’t forget to mention her favorite statement-piece— sky-high, black platform Marc Jacobs boots from the “Heaven” diffusion line. Her slim, toned legs look nothing short of incredible with the short skirt and high boot combo. So cute!

The singer donned this turn-of-the-century look while attending the opening of the “Artists Inspired by Music: Interscope Reimagined” exhibit at LACMA in Los Angeles on January 26th. She shared photos of her flaunting the outfit (and her super-long legs) to her 21.7 million Instagram followers. Naturally, this edgy and pattern-mixing fit amassed over 3 million likes.

Micro mini skirts as a 2022 trend don’t seem to be going anywhere, as we’ve recently spotted Hailey Bieber and Lily-Rose Depp rocking them as well. Is the alt-rock 90s style back or did it never really leave? Either way, we love a good effortless, unkempt-yet-classy look— and Rodrigo always knows how to pull that off so well!
