We’re used to seeing Olivia Wilde slay the red carpet in one jaw-dropping look after another, so when we saw a behind-the-scenes picture of her in full body make up for her role as Gozer in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, we had to do a triple take! We wonder what boyfriend Harry Styles thinks of her transformation?!
The 37-year-old actress and director looks completely unrecognizable in a picture that was posted by one of the movie’s special makeup effects designers on Instagram on December 9th. The designer referenced that it took five and a half hours in the makeup chair to achieve Olivia’s Gozer the Gozerian look, although they didn’t mention how long the overall design process for the intricate bodysuit actually took. But we’re going to guess it was a very long time!

As expected, the comments section was flooded with praise for Olivia's transformation into the antagonist first seen in the original 1984 film. "She did such a good job as Gozer, and you did an amazing job making her look fantastic," one fan wrote. "The detail in this makeup was SO cool. I loved that some of the "bubbles" are now spikes," commented another. "Wow!!!!!!!" exclaimed another fan, while another raved about the costume and Olivia's performance, writing, "Absolutely awesome Gozer!! Loved her performance!!" We are speechless!
