While wearing a bright colored sweater, she got to show off all the weight she’s lost over the years, after changing her lifestyle habits and even using weight loss drugs. The talk show host is well known for her uber-popular Oprah's Book Club, where she promotes and recommends books for her fans and followers to read, having a significant influence on the literary world. At the end of the summer, she made a new Instagram post promoting one of her latest book picks, All the Way to the River by Elizabeth Gilbert.
"It's an extraordinary memoir that will resonate with anyone who has ever been captive to love—or to any other passion, substance, or craving—and who yearns for liberation," she wrote in her caption.
While promoting the book, which has a very colorful cover, Oprah wore a sweater to match it while posing outside among greenery. She had on a bright orange sweater with pink lining, which looked great alongside the eye-catching book cover. She paired her sweater with a stylish watch and had her dark hair down and slightly curled.

Since her early days on television and in film, the 71-year-old has been known as a heavier-set woman, and over the last few years, she has slimmed down significantly. A few years back, she was a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, giving her fans insight into how she likes to use their 'points' system.
However, she's opened up about how her weight continued to fluctuate, and confessed in interviews that no matter how hard she worked or how closely she watched her diet, she still struggled to get to her goal weight. Therefore, she revealed to her podcast listeners and others that she had started taking a GLP-1.
"I realized I'd been blaming myself all these years for being overweight, and I have a predisposition that no amount of willpower is going to control," she told People.
Now, she's lost over 40 pounds, she's not only looking great, with fans leaving adoring comments about her on social media, but she's also expressed how much happier she is, telling People she's living "a more vital and vibrant life."
