OrthoFX just launched earlier this month and is the first company to offer custom teeth aligners with weekly delivery to your doorstep. For $3,950 (payments plans are available, thankfully) you get unlimited doctor visits and care, replacements for lost or damaged aligners, teeth whitening and a 3-year guarantee.
Now, don’t get us wrong–it’s still totally an investment, but it also couldn’t be more convenient versus the old way of getting orthodontist care (get a referral from your dentist, wait for an appointment). It just feels like a really modern way to deal with a pretty common but totally daunting issue of having crooked teeth.
And since it’s 2019, the company uses selfies to generate a free digital 3D model of what your teeth could look like with a little straightening. Goals!
From there you have the option of “try it” before you buy it. The test aligners are shipping with 48 hours, and you can try them at-home before buying the whole package.
The brand’s aligners are also touted as being 40% less painful than competitors because of a “unique FXTetra build” that sits comfortably on the teeth, rather than your gums, to avoid irritation.
