Royal Experts Weigh In On Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Portrayal In 'Harry – The Lost Prince' Documentary
The latest reports about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's life in the U.S. come following the release of the documentary Harry – The Lost Prince, which aired on German network, ZDF.
According to reports, the filmmakers spoke to some of their neighbors and locals in their community for some insight into the couple for the documentary, which is when they discovered more about their allegedly lonely and isolated life.
Several royal experts weighed in on the documentary, and discussed how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were portrayed in a negative light, as it seemed to focus on their low points rather than more positive things. Perhaps Prince Harry and Meghan will want to move back to the U.K. and get their old royal lives back after hearing what their neighbors think of them…
The Documentary Suggests That Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Live A Very 'Lonely' And 'Isolated' Life
"I would describe it as an encyclopedia of Harry and Meghan's low points over the last few years," said To Di For Daily podcast host, Kinsey Schofield. "And there have certainly been more low points than high points and that was on full display."
"It gives you the sense that Meghan is as lonely and isolated as the rumors suggest," she continued, adding: "Additionally, it makes you wonder why they are so eager to chase after communities and photo ops all over the world if they aren't even doing anything at home."
Schofield went on to say that the documentary seemed to confirm that the American Riviera Orchard founder isn't very "popular" with her neighbors or the community, which goes against the values of the Archewell nonprofit she and Prince Harry are so proud of.
She said: "To me, one of the biggest revelations to come out of the documentary was... that Meghan is not very popular in her neighborhood and has not been involved in the Montecito community. Archewell repeats the term ‘community impact' constantly – yet Meghan is a stranger in her community."
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Reportedly Not Very Involved In Their Local Community
British royal expert Hilary Fordwich also weighed in after watching the documentary, and referenced the fact that the couple seemed quite unfriendly with their neighbors and the local community due to allegedly ignoring their invitations to connect.
"In terms of community, the documentary was clear that invitations from the local Montecito community, to attend events, go unanswered. So, neither Harry nor Meghan are interested in those around them," Fordwich said.
She went on to add: "A neighbor of theirs in Montecito suggested that Harry's dogs and bodyguard are his best friends."
