Reese Witherspoon Posts A Tribute To Her 'Barbiecore' Outfits Over The Years
Reese reminds us that she's the queen of the barbiecore trend with a TikTok she posted on Wednesday, February 22. The Big Little Lies actress posted an adorable montage of photos of herself wearing pink over the years including bright magenta pink gowns, light blush dresses, and bubblegum pink high heels.
"I tried to look for other colors, but nothing appeals like pink," a TikTok voiceover can be heard in the background. "Oh, you have that in pink? Oh yeah, I'll take the pink." She also posted the video to her Instagram account.
"It's a lifestyle y'all," the Hello Sunshine founder quipped in her caption. Some of the looks include her plunging hot pink Stella McCartney gown for the 2014 Met Gala, the neon pink Emilia Wickstead dress she wore to the Where the Crawdads Sing premiere (a movie she produced!), and her Legally Blonde fuchsia and black dress, and more.

The TikTok video quickly racked up more than 53,000 likes and hundreds of comments, where many of fans playfully quoted the Legally Blonde and complimented Reese's barbiecore style over the years. "On Wednesdays we wear pink," one commenter wrote, while another referenced the cult classic, "'Whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed,' Love pink as your signature color!" while a third commenter pointed out the similarities between Reese and the character she played, "The real-life Elle Woods!"

The third film in the Legally Blonde franchise was announced in 2018 and was initially scheduled for release in May 2022 but has been delayed until some time in 2023. Reese will be reprising her role as Elle, and her The Morning Show costar Mindy Kaling, 43, is writing the script for the movie.
"You know, it's one of those projects where it takes longer than other things because we just don't want to mess it up," Mindy told TODAY June 2022 of how the scriptwriting process is going.
