Many celebrities’ true colors are being revealed as the truth comes out about who was involved with Jeffrey Epstein. Though the infamous Epstein Files have yet to be released, other pieces of evidence that connect individuals to the sex offender are coming to the surface.

Like old emails, for example. Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, is being dropped from charities left and right after an old email of hers surfaced in which she called Epstein her “supreme friend.” Keep reading for more information.

Sarah Ferguson Fired From Charities

Sarah's ex-husband, the disgraced Prince Andrew, has long since fell from grace after his connection to Jeffrey Epstein was revealed years ago. Now, Sarah is facing the same consequences after an email from 2011 shows that she named Epstein as her "supreme friend" after she swore to the public that she had cut off all contact with him.

"You have always been a steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me and my family," the email reads. Sarah goes on to privately apologize to Epstein for her public rejection of him, saying she "humbly apologizes" and knows he feels "hellaciously let down by me."

Publicly, though, Sarah said her involvement with him was a "gigantic error of judgement" and that "what he did was wrong and for which he was rightly jailed." Which is it, Duchess?"

According to many of the charities that Ferguson represented, it doesn't matter. Julie's House, a children's hospice, was the first to remove the 65-year-old. The Teenage Cancer Trust, Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, Children's Literacy Foundation, National Foundation for Retired Service Animals, and Prevent Breast Cancer all followed suit.

A spokesperson for Sarah said that her email to Epstein was written in order to prevent her from being sued by Epstein for defamation: "This email was sent in the context of advice the duchess was given to try to assuage Epstein and his threats," the statement reads. Unfortunately for the Duchess, the excuse fell on deaf ears.

Social Media Reactions

While so many had written off Prince Andrew, many royal fans remained loyal to Sarah Ferguson, but after this email was released to the public, British citizens are having none of the Duchess. "I donated to Julia's House today," one person wrote. "I'm so pleased they showed leadership and cut their ties quickly."

"This is horrific," another person wrote. "And all this time she acted like her ex-husband's actions were so foreign to her meanwhile she was just as buddy buddy with Epstein as he was."

"Good on those charities for cutting her off," reads another comment. "There are plenty of people who have never met Epstein that can do her job much better than she can."

"I have to say I'm shocked by this one," a final fan said. "I used to love Sarah Ferguson and defend her always...not this time."
