“I woke up early this morning, and I was like, ‘I want to do something nice for my girlfriend.’ I was thinking, whenever I want to put a smile on her face, I just make her steak,” he said.
The homemade meal included a succulent smoked steak, crispy golden potatoes, and a classic Caesar salad topped with homemade crunchy croutons.
Originally intending to surprise Gomez at her work, the 36-year-old pivoted his plans when he discovered that she actually got the day off. He swiftly headed to her home when everything was cooked, where he found her sleeping in her room.
Along with the food, Blanco left a cute handwritten note by her bedside that said, ‘I love you! Sleep well! I made you steak’ and gently held her hand before ending the video.
