Naked dresses have been a major red carpet trend in recent years—and now, it seems stars are trying out sheer shirts, too.
The most recent to take on the trend? Lucy Hale. The “Pretty Little Liars” actress stepped out to the CW Upfronts in May wearing a see-through Giambattista Valli blouse with a leopard-print skirt (animal-print is another BIG trend right now!). The star capped off her look with strappy black pumps.
The trend is also approved by “Wonder Woman” herself: Gal Gadot. The Israeli star is usually known for her classic-chic style, but she proved she’s not afraid to go a little risqué at the January “I Am The Night” premiere. She wore a Givenchy look with a sheer top (her lacy black bra was visible underneath) and a funky cape.

Country star Kacey Musgraves may have kicked off the trend at the CMA Awards in November. She wore a custom Versace top with strategically placed Swarovski crystal fringe on the sleeves and at the bust. The “High Horse” singer teamed the sheer blouse with flared trousers and pointy-toe pumps.
