Just a few months ago, Simon Cowell sensationally revealed that he was going to ditch the Botox and fillers and start ageing gracefully due to his son Eric’s apparent disapproval of his appearance after his cosmetic procedures. However, the 63-year-old music mogul appears to have gone against his word, as he has sparked fresh plastic surgery concerns from fans after he looked more unrecognizable than ever in a brand new (but since deleted) promotional video for Britain’s Got Talent that was posted to its official Twitter account.

Simon Cowell Looks Unrecognizable In New Video

On Thursday, December 1st, the Britain’s Got Talent judge appeared in a short video asking people to audition for the new season of the talent competition, saying: “I always say on this show, two or three minutes can change your life. And it has. And maybe this time it’s gonna be you. So please audition now for next year’s season, and I’m looking forward to meeting you.”

However, fans weren’t paying attention to what he was saying, as his face, which some fans described as looking “melted” and “heavily filtered” got almost *all* of the attention on social media!

Twitter Comments About Simon Cowell’s Appearance

As expected, Twitter had a *lot* to say about the X Factor judge’s exceptionally smooth and shiny face, as well as his blinding white teeth which did not go unnoticed either! “Not one for slagging someone’s appearance but his face looks like it’s melting,” one user commented on Britain’s Got Talent‘s now-deleted post of the video. “What has happened to Simon Cowell?” asked another fan. “He has turned into one of the thunderbird characters!” they added. “Looks anorexic and heavily filtered,” noted another Twitter user.

"Climate change has melted his face," quipped another, while many others refused to believe that the man staring back at them was the America's Got Talent judge. "Doesn't even look like him," one commented. "Holy moly, I nearly didn't recognize him then," said another. "This is not him," claimed another. "That's NOT Simon!" exclaimed another user, while a few others likened him to stars such as Will Smith and Madonna, both of whom have seemingly undergone intense amounts of plastic surgery and cosmetic treatments recently.

"Plastic surgery, too much of it…" one user wrote, while another thought, "He had his eyes done." "Too much Botox or a bad facelift!" someone else speculated. Another user went into a lot of detail about what they speculated he could have had done, writing, "Eye lid surgery! Almost as bad as Tom Jones and Kenny Rogers! Blepharoplasty. Botox has his eyebrows crooked. Naturally he has heavily hooded eyes that were sexy looking. He looks awful in these pics. Such a shame!"

Simon Cowell's Earlier Comments About Quitting Botox And Fillers

As we mentioned earlier, Cowell's appearance is even more of a shock, as he said that he was going to quit Botox and fillers and go for more natural, less-invasive procedures to preserve his youth. "I probably did have a little too much Botox a couple of years ago, because everyone on TV has it. Now I have facials, but nothing too extravagant at the moment," he previously told The Sun.

"There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far," he added. "I saw a picture of me from 'before' the other day, and didn’t recognize it as me first of all." He then went on to say that his then eight-year-old son Eric's reaction to his appearance after cosmetic treatments is what made him come to the decision to stop. "Eric was in hysterics," he confessed. "Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero." Sadly, we think that this is no longer the case! What will his son's reaction to his current appearance be like now, we wonder?!
