Sofía Vergara is widely recognized as a beauty and style icon, openly expressing her fondness for cosmetic surgery and treatments aimed at maintaining a youthful appearance.
Recently, the 51-year-old actress appeared in a figure-hugging white midi dress to promote her Walmart fashion line, sparking online speculation that she had undergone cosmetic surgery, specifically a Brazilian butt lift (BBL).
Though the Modern Family alum has yet to address these rumors, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Robert H. Cohen, who has never treated Vergara, shared his professional opinion with Life & Style on whether she might have recently undergone such a procedure.
“It does look like Sofía may have had something done because her butt now has a lot more projection,” the doctor said.

He added: "There is a significant increase in size. It could be a Brazilian butt lift, where fat is taken from one area of the body and injected into the buttocks and sculpted. As an insider also dished to the outlet: "She’s made no secret of her love of surgery, and the consensus among her friends is she’s had a Brazilian butt lift to enhance her natural curves. It’s sticking out a lot more."
Last month, Vergara openly discussed her decision to forgo fillers and shared her personal plans when it comes to cosmetic surgery in an interview with Allure. Although the America’s Got Talent judge noted that she has not undergone any cosmetic surgeries, she expressed a keen interest in exploring this avenue in the near future.

"I’m going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I’m ready," the Griselda star told the outlet. Had it not been for her bustling career onscreen, Vergara conceded that she would have undergone numerous procedures by now.
"I wish I had more downtime — I would’ve done stuff already," Vergara dished to the publication. "[But] because I’m in front of the camera, it’s not like I can do something and then sit in my house recuperating for weeks."

Although she hasn't undergone any surgical procedures, Vergara has mentioned that she's an avid user of Botox and has expressed her dislike for fillers.
“I don’t believe in filler,” the mom of one revealed. “I feel filler does good when you’re really young and you want a little bit more cheeks or to plump your lips a little bit.”

Vergara continued: “At my age — 51 — I feel it’s not going to make you look younger. It is going to make you look more done.”
Vergara spoke highly of plastic surgery, attributing its appeal to its ability to modify any desired aspect of one's appearance. “I feel like you have to take advantage of everything that is out there,” she went on.
“I mean, if you care about aging. Nothing wrong if you don’t care about it. It’s not the end of the world. But if you do, now there’s so much stuff out there.”
In a statement earlier this spring, the Colombia native conveyed her aversion towards the natural process of aging and conceded that she is willing to take measures to impede it.
"I’m going to fight it every step of the way,” Vergara dished to People Magazine. “I know I don’t look the same. But I don’t think I am going to ever be the woman that has the courage to be, like, all-white hair.”
She acknowledged: “Life has not always been easy,” adding: “but I’ve never felt stronger.”
