The Seattle-based coffee chain has agreed to cover the cost of the Aira app for guests in its stores, as part of an effort to be more inclusive. We love this!

Customers at all U.S. stores will be eligible to use the paid app for free, thanks to this new initiative.
The app is free to download, but typically offers monthly subscription plans based on the number of minutes needed. Starbucks is picking up the cost of the service at its stores!

The app's agents provide visual information, such as the store layout, menu board copy and what's in the display cases.
Starbucks also operates nine signing stores where employees are highly-skilled in sign language.

The company recently revealed that it has partnered with the National Braille Press to offer new large-print and Braille menus at all of its U.S. and Canada this summer!
They've also announced that they're putting more resources on accessibility, such as inclusive design features for their products and stores.
