Since it was revealed that Blake Lively and former co-star Justin Baldoni were suing each other amid reports of drama and harassment on the set of their latest film, It Ends With Us, more stories have come out about what went on behind the scenes, and Taylor Swift’s name has reportedly come up. Now, sources are saying the pop star is expecting to be subpoenaed this week. Keep reading for more information.
Taylor Swift Could Be Subpoenaed Any Day
Swift, among other notable names that are close to Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, including The Greatest Showman star Hugh Jackman, will likely be called in to testify in the lawsuit between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. In fact, a source close to the situation said to DailyMail that Swift and Jackman will "definitely be served this week."
"It could happen at any time," the source said, adding that Swift specifically has been "waiting." The "Cruel Summer" singer is getting dragged into the mess because of a few text messages from Lively that have been dug up for the trial, including one from Lively who called Swift and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, her "creative barometers" and "dragons" she was "lucky" to have in her corner.

How Does Taylor Fit In?
If you didn't know, Blake and Justin have been in the process of a nasty legal battle since December 2024, when the Gossip Girl lead filed a complaint against the It Ends With Us director that eventually turned into a lawsuit.
Reports eventually came out that Taylor, who has been close friends with Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for a little over a decade, played an influential role behind the scenes of the 2024 film, which is based on the famous novel by author Colleen Hoover.
Since the legal battle began, text messages between Justin and Blake referencing Taylor's influence on the film have been released as evidence, and there are reports that Taylor will need to testify when the actors go to court next year.
