Taylor Swift just gave the world its very first live rendition of her hit “Anti-Hero” while rocking a dazzling sequined dress!

The Grammy winner, 33, also surprised the audience at The 1975’s London O2 Arena show last week with a cover of the band’s 2013 track “The City.” Swift flaunted her long, toned legs— and Studio 54-esque style on stage during the performance— in a shimmering Paco Rabanne frock.

Swift specifically donned the sleeveless ‘Paillette Chainmail Sparkle Dress’ from Paco Rabanne while singing her heart out, which featured all-over sequin details, a rounded neckline, and a flirty, thigh-skimming hemline.

The illuminating piece helped emphasize the “Bejeweled” hitmaker’s sculpted figure, and she paired it with equally eye-catching ‘Yazefine Platform Metallic Embellished Sandal’ heels from Christian Louboutin.

To accessorize her stunning get-up even more, Swift added chunky silver rings and a chain necklace. She wore her signature long blonde tresses in an elegant updo with her thick bangs styled down. As for makeup, the “Lavender Haze” singer went for her classic red lipstick, winged black eyeliner cat-eye and a touch of rosy blush on her high cheekbones.

Fan Reactions To Swift’s Unexpected Appearance

While at the pop-rock band’s show, fans were understandably shook by the unexpected arrival of Swift. As seen in multiple fan-shot videos of her two-song performance, Swift’s devotees cheered for her and continue to share clips from the concert on social media.

“Imagine going to see the 1975 and TAYLOR F—G SWIFT WALKS OUT” one fan tweeted as another lucky user who attended the event added, “I may have woken up at 4am to go to the o2, but i saw taylor swift covering “the city” by the 1975 and performing “anti-hero” and suddenly everything is worth it.”

Others deemed her dress to be “gorgeous” and praised her current “70s-inspired disco style,” since releasing her tenth studio album Midnights last October.

Swift And The 1975 Rumored To Be Collaborating

Soon after Swift announced the arrival of Midnights at the MTV VMAs in August of 2022, rumors began circulating that a collaboration between her and The 1975 was on its way. Both artists dropped albums during the same month, and Jack Antonoff worked as a producer on both as well.

When asked about a potential collaboration with the Red (Taylor’s Version) songwriter last October, The 1975’s lead singer Matty Healy shut down the gossip in an interview with BBC Radio 1. “We haven’t done it yet,” Healy said.

He added, “We’d love to though.” He also deemed Swift to be “one of the best songwriters.” He later shared that his band did work “a bit” on Midnights, but that version of the LP never came out. (Here’s hoping it will soon!)
