Speculations about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce being romantically involved had been swirling around for a while now. Finally, this weekend in the city that never sleeps, the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker and Kansas City Chiefs tight end put all rumors to rest when they made a public appearance as a couple.

It was at the iconic Graydon Carter’s Waverly Inn, in the charming West Village of New York, that the lovebirds walked hand in hand and confirmed their relationship to the world. While Kelce, 34, was dressed fashionably in a sophisticated camel outfit and a pair of pristine white Nike sneakers, all eyes were on the Grammy winner, 33.

Swift paired a trendy, sheer and floral Jean Paul Gaultier top with a flirty black leather mini skirt and heeled combat boots, channeling 90s grunge style that is perfect for autumn.

To complete her ensemble, she added a cute crimson purse and further dazzled up her get-up with shiny mini hoop earrings and silver rings. As for her glam, the "Anti-Hero" singer wore her signature curly, dirty blonde tresses in an elegant updo. For her makeup look, Swift sported rosy bronze eyeshadow, black liner, radiant blush and a peachy pink lipstick hue.

This was just one day after the duo's departure from the star-studded after party of Saturday Night Live (and after they appeared on-screen during the show!) For that soiree, Swift wore a black Versace corset top, matching trousers and a gray checkered trench coat. Kelce stepped out in a crisp white button-down with brown pants and a graphic white jacket to complete.

Following the sudden virality of the photos of them together at this event, Kelce was widely lauded by online fans as the epitome of a true gentleman, for his chivalrous behavior of holding Swift's hand as she entered and exited the vehicle they were traveling in. Some Swifties even joked that he made a "perfect security guard," something that he recently responded to.

On this week's installment of the "New Heights" podcast, hosted by none other than Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, the two brothers divulged into the juicy details of Travis' recent whirlwind trip to NYC with the 1989 (Taylor's Version) songwriter.

During their conversation, Jason posed a question about a specific moment that caught his attention. Travis was seen in fan-shot footage, placing his hand on the back of one of Swift's security guards.

Jason was curious if Travis faced any backlash for this action. In response, Travis set the record straight by explaining that he didn't push the security guard at all. Instead, he simply placed his hand on the man's back in a gesture of respect, a way of showing him who he was.

Jason then asked if Travis felt like a security guard when he is with his new girlfriend. He replied: "I feel like whenever I'm on a date, I'm always having the sense that I'm a man in the situation. I'm protective, yeah, for sure. You always have to have that feeling or self-awareness, I guess."

According to sources who recently spoke with Page Six, the two were "in their own world" at the party (which was also attended by notable guests like Pete Davidson, Madelyn Cline, Ice Spice and more).

"They were holding each other, and talking and kissing, in the main spot where the waiters and people had to walk by," one source said. "They didn’t care or move," the insider went on. "They do seem in love. [Taylor] seemed really excited around him, and giddy and happy like a schoolgirl."
