As a timeless style icon (they don’t call her ‘Posh Spice’ for nothing!) Victoria Beckham knows the power of a fitted little black dress. The fashion designer, 48, showed off her incredible figure last week in a new item from her VB Body collection and shared her look with her 29.9 million Instagram followers in two separate posts.
In the first upload, Beckham snapped two stunning mirror selfies in a one-sleeve, asymmetrical bodycon ensemble in all-black. “Ready-to-wear and shapewear rolled into one!” she wrote in her caption, “VB Body cinches you in in all the right places ladies!” The Spice Girl explained that both her ‘VB Body One Shoulder Top in Black’ and ‘VB Body Midi Skirt in Black’ she modeled in the pics are available in sizes XS-XXL and are designed to have a sultry, curve-hugging fit.

Beckham posted a full-body Boomerang video of herself in the second post to give fans a full view of her outfit, and revealed that the bottom of her 2-part dress’ hemline had a sexy slit. She amped up her look even more with ivory stiletto heels and wore her shoulder-length light brown hair down and styled into loose waves. “VB Body gives you the best silhouette! It pulls you in in all the right places ladies!!” she wrote in her caption along with a laughing/ crying emoji.

While many fans praised how “gorgeous,” “ageless,” and “toned” she looked in the dress in her comment sections, others worried about its sizing, and wanted to double check with the star to see if her new launch was as inclusive as it may have been marketed to appear. “Lovely but I’m afraid you need “The Body” to wear it,” one fan wrote, while another asked, “Hi – love what you do but if [the range] is about celebrating our bodies and curves how about using curvier models too?”

“These dresses really do work on all shapes and sizes,” Beckham replied and clarified on her IG Story. “The curvier you are, the better the garment actually looks.” More users appreciated her response, as written in her posts’ comments, and continued to hype her up with compliments and words of approval for her waist-flaunting dress. “You are everything,” wrote one user as another added the word “waist” with a red heart. Beckham also noted when sharing her new collection that it is available on her website and the new pieces “celebrate the female form and empower women to feel like the best version of themselves.”
