What Changes Will Be Made To Walmart's Return Policy For The 2023 Holiday Season?

Acknowledging that a significant proportion of its customers make their holiday shopping arrangements during October, the retailer has decided to offer lucrative discounts on items like toys, home decor, beauty products and more. In a move to provide greater convenience to its shoppers,

Walmart and Walmart+ subscribers can take advantage of extended return policies for their early holiday purchases. Specifically, any items bought from October 1 onwards can now be returned until January 31, 2023.

The updated return policy offers customers multiple avenues for making returns, ranging from in-store returns to curbside returns at Walmart stores and home pick-up options for Walmart+ members.

In an interview with CNNBusiness, executive vice president and chief eCommerce officer for Walmart U.S, Tom Ward, said: "We know that our customers’ wallets are under pressure and value is always top of mind. They trust us to consistently offer low prices on their everyday essentials, and we want to make it easy for them to find that same value when holiday shopping, which is starting earlier than ever this year."
