The urge to grab a fast food breakfast can be strong–especially on the weekends when dirtying your kitchen is the last thing you want to do. But nutritionists warn that the sandwiches and breakfast platters available at chains like Burger King and McDonald’s have alarming ingredients and nutritional content. Here’s what they say you should *never* order at Burger King.

Fully Loaded Croissan’wich

Even the small version of this Fully Loaded Croissan’wich Bacon, Sausage, Ham Small combo contains more than 1,200 calories, and the large clocks in at a whopping 1,932. It’s made on a buttery croissant, with ham, sausage, bacon, eggs, and American cheese, and also comes with a drink and a side, either hash browns or french toast sticks. Yes–all of that in one meal! It’s no wonder leading health experts have slammed it.

“The high fat and calorie content in this insane breakfast will leave you feeling sluggish and possibly hungry soon after because the high carb content gets digested quickly,” Morgyn Clair, MS, of Sprint Kitchen says.

The sandwich alone contains 573 calories. “This is not entirely surprising considering it contains three different forms of pork; ham, sausage, and bacon,” Lisa Richards, CNC, of The Candida Diet agrees.

“At nearly 37 grams of fat, almost half of which is from saturated fat, this sandwich is not ideal for anyone concerned with heart health,” she warns. “The sodium in this breakfast sandwich is more concerning at 1646 mg. This is only a few hundred milligrams away from an entire day’s worth of sodium.”

And here’s the kicker– it’s high in everything (fat, sodium, carb), except fiber. “Fiber is an excellent nutrient to have at breakfast as it provides a safe and effective way to stay full and keep blood sugar in control,” she reveals.
