Well turns out, your diet is actually just as - if not more! - important as the creams you've been putting on your body. Here, we're revealing the worst carbs you can eat for skin-dimpling. Make sure to avoid them at all costs!

White bread

While you may not categorize white bread as a "sweet," the body converts refined carbohydrates into sugar and glucose, both of which damage collagen and make cellulite appear a lot worse. Registered dietician and personal trainer Kristin Reisinger told Eat This, Not That! that she'll never touch white bread for this very reason.

Bagels

Salt is one of the biggest culprits of belly bloat, and little do most people know that the ingredient is hiding en masse in bagels. Your favorite doughy treats can actually contain up to 500 milligrams of sodium, and that's all before you add on any cream cheese!

Chips

Loaded with tons of harmful additives, processed snacks like chips unsurprisingly made our list. They commonly include monosodium glutamate (MSG), an ingredient known to increase appetite and make foods tastier. If you must indulge in some chips, make sure to opt for an organic version and check your labels!

Pizza

One of the most common causes of cellulite is poor blood flow, which can be caused by eating foods high in saturated fats - like pizza!

 

“A diet high in unhealthy fats can slow blood circulation and oxygen flow," Dr. Yasi Ansari told Eat This, Not That! "As a result, connective tissues weaken, making skin rippling more apparent.” 

 

So, skip the Dominoes and opt for some protein and veggies, yeah?
