We’ve recently seen a rather slimy trend within the beauty world that involves snakes. Aside from Jenn Aniston’s snakeskin pedicure, we’ve noticed a whole slew of skin care products that contain snake venom. Brands like Rodial have started using an ingredient called Syn-ake, a neuropeptide that mimics the effects of the Temple Viper Snake’s potent venom, to instantly lift the face, freeze muscles and plump fine lines and wrinkles. And stars like Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham have been slathering this sh*t all over their faces. I mean, their skin looks pretty awesome to us. Should we be taking note? Check out our slideshow of 7 skin care products that include this botox-like ingredient now (there’s even a snake venom BB cream, say what?!).
