Sephora Is Changing The Polish Game With These One-Time Use Pods
I'll admit it, I'm a nail polish addict. There's something satisfying about adding a new polishes to my current and never-ending polish collection (we're talking boxes and boxes here). The sad news? Most of them only get used once, if at all. But thanks to the affordable and awesome Formula X line at Sephora, that's all about to change. Come April, you'll be able to get ahold of their Press Pod Collection ($39), which will contain 24 best-selling shades that are good for one-time use. “We know our guests love to experiment with new nail shades, and this allows them to preview our 24 bestselling Formula X shades before committing to a full-sized bottle,” Kristin Walcott, Vice President of Formula X, told Women’s Wear Daily. Each pod contains exactly enough polish to coat 10 fingers or 10 toes twice, and has a specialized built-in brush that allows the polish to go perfectly on each nail. "You pop off the top of the pod, roll the brush between your fingers and a dot of nail polish will appear from the middle of the brush. Apply it in the center of the nail, and brush," relayed Walcott. Pretty genius, right? And just think about all the room you'll free up in your makeup drawers. We Tried Oil Pulling–And Here’s What Happened
If you haven't seen the whole oil pulling phenomenon going around on the internet, here's your chance to catch up. According to Wikipedia, oil pulling is "a traditional folk remedy that involves swishing oil in the mouth." The idea is that you swish around one tablespoon of your oil of choice (sesame, coconut, olive, sunflower, etc.) for 20 minutes, and it will miraculously remove toxins, kill bad breath, whiten teeth, get rid of headaches, clear up skin and so on. And since i'm obsessed with all things related to detoxing, I decided to give it a whirl. I only had olive oil sitting around, so decided to start out with what was in my kitchen cabinet. I poured one tablespoon in my mouth, and began the swishing process. And let me tell you, it was not pleasant. If you aren't used to the texture or taste, be prepared to gag. About 10 minutes in, it turned into an opaque, thin texture, which grossed me out even more so. The time did go by fairly quickly though, which was good (cleaning and cooking are good things to occupy yourself with). When it was time to spit it out (in your trashcan so you don't clog the sink), I started dry heaving because of the thick coating of olive oil left around the inside of my mouth. Sick. The next two days I opted for coconut oil, as it just sounds more appealing. Same ordeal. The texture and taste just threw me off. Aside from not being a fan of those two factors, I have to say that not much else happened. My teeth and gums feel a bit cleaner overall, but I have to say I'd rather swish with mouth wash for 2 minutes or something. It tastes wayyyyy better–and is also more cost effective. End verdict? I think I'll try it out consistently for a while to see if anything else happens over a longer period of time, but given that there's no scientific evidence that it has any systematic and/or health benefits, I'm not going to hold my breath. Dr. Jessica Emery, DMD of Sugar Fix Dental Loft Chicago, relayed that there's "no solid proof that it works but it certainly makes people feel better. Your cheeks may get tired but I say 'swish away." I guess if it makes you feel that much better, there's no harm in oil pulling, right? 10 Mistakes Brides Make When Planning An OUTDOOR Wedding
Outdoor weddings in the summer are hands down the best. Warm weather, sunshine, refreshing summer cocktails, scenic backdrops–we could go on forever. The Best Nails From #NYFW (With Tips For How To Do Them All!)
New York Fashion Week was filled with 'barely there' nude nails this season, but we did manage to find a few standout nails. I mean, is nail art dead or is it still alive? This season proved to be an equal mixture of both, leaving us all confused. It was pretty hard to overlook CND's pink crystal dagger and miniature gun nails, which definitely won the award of most creative look. And while we don't recommend trying those at home, there are several others that we'd rock right now. Check out the slideshow above for all of the deets. A Polish Trick Only The Pros Know: Layering To Get The Perfect Shade
After watching Michelle Saunders, Julie Kandalec and Rita Remark work their magic for essie backstage at New York Fashion Week, we learned an amazing new trick: layering. Instead of mixing or tracking down a new polish shade, these talented celebrity manicurists layer on different colors in order to create the perfect shade. And it's super easy. Simply let each coat dry to the point where it's still a bit tacky, and layer on the next color. The options are endless, and it's an awesome way to warm up, lighten or darken any existing shade in your collection. And better yet, you won't even need to purchase new shades for spring. Check out the slideshow to see some of the gorgeous layered colors they created for designers this season. Manic Panic Gives Chloe Norgaard, Their Unofficial Spokeswoman, Her Own Collab

This New Jergens BB Body Cream Is Selling Out At ‘Historic, Rapid Pace’
I am not sure how my face ever survived without BB and CC creams, so when Jergens recently debuted a BB cream for the body, I had to try it out. Just like a BB cream for your face, it hydrates, perfects, corrects, firms and evens out skin tone in as little as five days (adios, cellulite and haggard-looking skin). Apparently I'm not alone when I say that I am completely obsessed with this stuff. Jergens just announced that their BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream, which by the way is a mere $12.99 at drugstores, "has begun to sell out at select online retailers at a historic, rapid pace." And just like popular designer collaborations, it's already going for $29.99 on eBay. May I suggest immediately running to your local Walgreens or buying one of the last bottles online at Drugstore.com (for a whole dollar cheaper!) while you still can. This stuff is magic, people. GET YOURSELF ONE OF THE LAST BOTTLES HERE Don’t forget to check out NARS’ ‘Final Cut’ collection, Marc Jacobs' latest spring beauty collection and our favorite beauty bloggers’ must-have products for spring.
Only Marc Jacobs Can Do A Beauty Collection Better Than Marc Jacobs

Matte Velvet Lipstick Is The Only Beauty Trend You Need To Know About Right Now
It all started last summer with Lipstick Queen's new 'Velvet Rope' lipstick collection, which we fell head over heels for. And at $50 a tube, that's a whole lot of love. To refresh your memory, the formula proved to kick regular matte lipstick in the a*s. It's super moisturizing, highly pigmented and goes on flawless. No need to worry about dry, cracked lips after a few minutes of wear, and it stays on forever. Fast forward several months later, and we've seen matte velvet lipsticks popping up everywhere. From Chanel's $34 La Diva (the best pink that money can buy) to new 'The Damned' collection from Topshop Beauty (pictured above), and even a $3.80 knockoff version via Forever 21, the options are endless. We Found The Fountain Of Youth–Literally
I'm sure you're all familiar with the Fountain of Youth, a legendary spring that is said to restore the youth of anyone who drinks or bathes in it. Too good to be true, right? Who knows if it really exists, but we've just discovered a beauty supplement that contains the first-ever soluble form of hyaluronic acid and is supposedly as good as drinking from the fountain itself. Aptly named "Fountain," which comes in a medicinal-looking bottle, the beauty molecule formula claims to promote health, youth and longevity. While we've seen a lot of supplements and shots and stuff, but this one has our full attention. Each bottle contains as much Resveratrol (aka one of the most potent antioxidants) as 26,000 red grapes. Amen. And for about $40, you can drink from your very own 'Fountain of Youth' for 48 days straight since you only need one shot a day. Sounds like a pretty cost effective anti-aging plan to us. Beauty Smackdown: Did Ciate Just Rip Off Rad Nails’ Cuticle Tattoos?
We just learned that Ciate, one of our favorite Brit polish brands, is launching cuticle tattoos. And while they're super cool and all, we discovered this trend last summer via Rad Nails. We're actually kind of surprised, as Ciate is usually ahead of the curve when it comes to innovative new nail art. And if you're behind on your nail news, cuticle tattoos transfer onto your skin just as regular faux tattoos do. Pick your favorite design, soak the paper in water and place the sticky side down on the edge of your nail bed. It's an easy way to dress up any plain old manicure. Nail art might be dead, but cuticle tattoos don't seem to be. These have just made their way into the UK, so stay tuned for a U.S. launch date. Get Beyonce’s Exact Metallic Gold Nails From Her New ‘Drunk In Love’ Music Video
It seems to be an ongoing trend for Beyonce to wear standout nail art in her new music videos. A few weeks ago she released new music video "Blow" and was wearing Ciate's glow-in-the-dark Corrupted Neon Manicure on her nails, which came as a shock considering that everyone was saying that nail art was dying. While that might have been the case, Queen B doesn't seem to care one bit. She just debuted her sexy "Drunk in Love" video sporting metallic gold nails. And for those of you that want to copy her exact look, you're in luck. Her chrome nails, appropriately named 'Gold Lightning,' are actually from Minx. They're heat-activated nail coatings and offered in-salon only, so they'll stay shiny and perfect for a while. It's safe to say that if Beyonce is wearing them that they're going to be a big trend. Check out Minx's site here to find the closest salon in your area.
