LOVE Magazine enlisted Minnie Mouse to star on the cover of their Fifth Anniversary special, The Sweetie Issue. Because, who else would you put on the cover of something called The Sweetie Issue? Minnie is joined by five of our fave models for the six part cover series. Edie Campbell, Cara Delevigne, George May Jagger, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Chiharu Okungi all get to wear custom made designer Minnie ears on their individual covers. Talk about lucky. These adorable Minnie ears were created by the best of the best: Gucci, Loewe, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu and Jake and Dinos Chapman for Louis Vuitton. Each designer was asked to reinterpret Minnie’s iconic ears and bows for the models. The results include polka dots from Miu Miu, leather from Gucci and denim ears and bow from Marc by Marc Jacobs. The Sweetie Issue Autumn/Winter 2013 goes on sale starting today, July 23rd. The rest of the covers will be fully revealed in print on July 29th. But we want to know when we can get our hands on a pair of these designer Minnie ears! Halloween IS just around the corner…sort of.
