Women Are Swapping Their Boring Water For This Ice Pop Electrolyte Mix!

It’s been about a decade since I abandoned my dreams of marrying Prince Charming, but it seems DSW isn’t ready to let the Disney princess fantasy go. To commemorate our favorite footwear-impaired purveyor of happily ever after, the discount designer shoe chain created a line of glass slippers based, of course, on the original Cinderella movie. No word on how these will stack up against Christian Louboutin’s take on the iconic shoe, but with news of designers turning to Minnie Mouse for inspiration at London Fashion Week, it looks like Disney cartoons are fashion’s newest muses. (We never could have guessed it, but it seems to be a thing.)

“We took a close look at the film’s aesthetic details—the rich textures and fabric, the beautiful blue in Cinderella’s dress, even the French rococo-inspired scenery,” said a DSW rep. “Every whimsical touch featured in the footwear collection came right out of the film.”

With prices ranging from $59.95 to $89.95, the Glass Slipper Collection (how appropriate!) will arrive in-stores and online at dsw.com October 1st to celebrate the release of Cinderella: Diamond Edition. The five-piece range will be marked with a blue jewel and an embossed carriage logo on the sole, which is just about all the kitsch I can handle. Is anyone else really, really hoping Belle is next?
