Earlier this week, I was on the phone with a coworker and our productive convo got derailed because he’d just gotten a new vacuum.

I always come away with a list of products I’ve bookmarked from IFA, and this year, four products in particular are living rent-free in my head.

Our ice maker works overtime in this house. My husband loves ice in everything and my daughter has inherited the habit—but the only issue is that our current ice maker is loud and clunky. I’m in charge of the grocery shopping in this house, so I spend a lot of time thinking about what’s in our fridge and pantry. Everblog’s FridgeCal AI Calendar feels like it could save me from a lot of that unnecessary grocery-store déjà vu.

Laifen AutoCurl ($99.99)
I’ve been straightening my hair since high school, so I can do it with my eyes closed at this point. Curling it is trickier though—you have to think about the right angle and direction to twist, all while sectioning the perfect amount of hair.
I like the idea of Laifen’s AutoCurl because it takes all that guesswork out of the equation. It. uses smart sensing technology to detect where your hair is placed and automatically determine which direction to curl it. In Auto Mode, you can let the tool handle the technique for you, or opt for Manual Mode for more customization control.
Another selling point for me is how quick it is.
