60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

I love pieces with many layers – layers of symbolism, meaning and history. The Vancouver, B.C. based Pyrrha and Deucalion jewelry lines are inspired by the myth of Pyrrha and Deucalion, the story of two young lovers who are the sole survivors of a catastrophic flood. The new Seals line is full of symbology and deeper, ancient meaning. The lion, as shown in this medallion, says “spero”, which means “hope” in Latin.

Women are layering a few of these beautiful pieces, cast from authentic 19th century wax seals for a multi-pendant look. Varying lengths with seals of different meaning is at once romantic and emblematic. Pyrrha’s Seals collection, a unique find at pyrrha.com, was worn on the Araks runway during the most recent New York Fashion Week (pictured here). If you haven’t heard of Araks, you’ve probably seen their undies. In the famous tush scene in Lost in Translation, Scarlett Johansson bounces around in a sexy pair of pink boyshort skivvies by Araks.
