A Harry Winston Wreath Necklace (Lot No. 328) once owned by the wife of McDonalds founder, Ray Kroc, will go on the auctioning block on April 11 at Christie’s. The renowned aution house will sell the stunner (expected to fetch between $500,000 and $700,000) and 30 other dazzling pieces as part of its twice-yearly Magnificent Jewels sale. The wreath is one of many coveted styles by the famous jeweler to the stars. Inspired by Christmas holly wreaths, Winston wanted to create a diamond piece that would showcase the stones themselves. The result was the well known necklace in which no wires or settings show. The other auction items include sapphire and diamond earrings by Van Cleef & Arpels, a fan brooch by JAR and butterfly brooch by Cartier. Find them at christies.com.
