Derek Lam’s lower priced line, 10 Crosby, a downtown girl favorite, is officially launching shoes for pre-fall 2013. Congratulations, feet everywhere.
The collection, which inspired by French footwear designer Maud Frizon’s prints, will be available at Shopbop, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue next year, but we’ve got a preview for you right now. In muted pastels and rich neutrals that correspond with 10 Crosby’s ready-to-wear collection, the 24-style shoe line will feature platform oxfords, pointy booties, peep-toe wedge, sandals, and boots. Colorblocking (it’s here to stay, ladies), leather, suede, calf-hair, artisinal stitching and statement buckles will be prominent throughout the pieces, which will range from $295 to $395 for shoes, and $575 for high boots.
