This Instagrammer Is Calling Out All You Skinny Chicks Who Pretend To Eat

Women Are Swapping Their Boring Water For This Ice Pop Electrolyte Mix!

Whenever we talk about bloggers in the office, there is always someone that chimes in and says “Omg (insert blogger name here) is so skinny,” or “Does she even eat!?” We’ll I guess there are other people who are thinking the same thing, because a new Instagram account just emerged that answers the question.

Run by an anonymous user, the You Did Not Eat That Instagram account is probably the funniest thing we’ve seen all week, and The Cut agrees. This account reposts blogger and celebs food pictures and calls them out, saying “You didn’t eat that.” And she’s right. We’ve been skeptical for a while about bloggers simply posing with their food and then throwing it away or giving it to their friends. Come on, there’s no way someone that wears a size double zero and has toothpicks for thighs eats Shake Shack cheeseburgers and macaroons on a daily basis without breaking their lease and living in the gym. And we know they aren’t working out THAT much, because they’re obviously too busy pretending to eat, documenting it on Instagram and being fabulous.

So thanks anonymous Instagrammer for clearing this up. Unfortunately, I’ve been known to justify eating that extra donut by saying, “well that blogger eats donuts all the time and she’s skinny so I can do it too,” and in my mouth and onto my Instagram the donut goes. Maybe that’s their strategy: “convince the world that eating donuts is ok so that we look better than everyone else.” Regardless, now I can’t use bloggers as my excuse.

Oh, and there’s one more thing I’d like to clear up. Here at SHEfinds, we’ve been known to pose with our food and lay out the perfect foodie Instagram‘s too. We admit it, but the difference is that we actually eat everything we post. I promise. Just a couple weeks ago we Instagrammed a whole tray of Baked By Melissa cupcakes and by the the time that pic got 10 likes, they were gone. So don’t come after us, @YouDidNotEatThat.
