Women Are Swapping Their Boring Water For This Ice Pop Electrolyte Mix!
If your shoes always match your belt and your handbag, and your lipstick matches your nail polish, you’re going to be excited by this new development via swimwear company, Eres. The swimwear company finally realized that nail polish is a big business, so they’re making coordinated nail polishes that perfectly match their swimwear, and selling them for $21. The polishes, in three colors, a plum, orange and will hit stores later this month. (Since it’s already March 21, it’s any day now.)
At first, I thought this idea was a little frivolous, but stick with me. I think I’ve found a way to justify the new Eres nail polish line. I think there’s something kind of sleek about matching your nail polish with your bikini — you’re not wearing anything else but two pieces of spandex, so you might as well take the look to a dramatic level by painting your toes and feet the same color. It’s kind of a retro look, where women would wear red lipstick with their red high waisted swimsuits. Considering all of the mixing and matching going on in fashion right now, it’s kind of refreshing to think about doing the monochromatic thing on the beach. Maybe even consider throwing in a pair of coordinating sunglasses. You don’t have to have an Eres nail polish to get the look, either. You can totally do it on the cheap.
