The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

We all know that Urban Decay is constantly releasing some of our cult beauty favorite eyeshadow palettes. Sadly, as we know, constant launches sometimes bring about discontinuations of our favorite beauty products. One Urban Decay Naked palette will be discontinued soon and it’s already being discounted and flying off of stores’ shelves. Which one, you ask? The Urban Decay’s Naked Smoky palette. Luckily, we’ve got some tips on where to buy the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette before it’s discontinued forever.

Why is the Urban Decay Naked Smoky eyeshadow palette so iconic? Both its packaging and shadow shades are seriously beautiful, and many were quick to buy it after the successful releases of other Urban Decay Naked palettes. The Naked Smoky offers 12 sultry neutral colors for makeup lovers everywhere, nine of which were brand new exclusives and three were colors from previous palettes. This palette quickly became everyone’s go-to beauty product for mastering the perfect smokey eye.

Now, let’s talk about the two online stores that we could find that still have the palette in stock and for half its original price so that you can get your hands on it ASAP…

  1. Ulta Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Smoky ($27.00, 50% off)

  2. Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette ($27.00, 50% off)

  1. High (pale pink-nude shimmer w/ micro-sparkle)
  2. Dirtysweet (medium bronze)
  3. Radar (metallic taupe w/ iridescent micro-glitter)
  4. Armor (metallic silver-taupe w/ tonal sparkle)
  5. Slanted (light metallic gray)
  6. Dagger (medium charcoal w/ micro-shimmer)
  7. Black Market (jet-black satin)
  8. Smolder (deep plum-taupe)
  9. Password (cool taupe matte)
  10. Whiskey (rich brown matte)
  11. Combust (soft pink-taupe)
  12. Thirteen (light beige satin)

We are definitely sad to see some of our favorite shades go, and we want to find out why they’re going off of stores’ shelves. Luckily, Glamour decided to investigate into why one of our favorite Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes is being discontinued. A rep for the makeup brand told Glamour the following:

“At Urban Decay, we are never ‘done’; this means we always look for
ways to make our products better. Every time we create a new product,
we come at it with a fresh perspective and make it technologically
innovative and relevant for now. Unfortunately, this sometimes means
discontinuing products people love, in order to launch new products we
think you’ll love even more!”

That’s so sad, but we’re excited to see whether this discontinued product means that another amazing Naked eyeshadow palette is just right around the corner. I guess we’ll have to wait and see! For now, you can always shop what you can find left of the Smoky palette and test out Urban Decay’s other amazing Naked eyeshadow palettes. Some we recommend are the original Urban Decay Naked palette and Urban Decay’s Naked Heat.

We’ve always got you covered on all of the beauty launches and sales that you need to know about right now– even the ones that have just been released or announced.
