Dr. Oz, one of the world's most critically acclaimed doctors, has some super helpful tips on what to eliminate from your diet for good if you want to have a slimmer body. The number one thing he recommends cutting out for good are simple sugars!

ice cream

Simple sugars are doing major damage to your body, according to Dr. Oz. "Simple sugars are rapidly absorbed, spiking blood sugar levels for an initial energy high," he said "This triggers an insulin reaction, driving levels back down and creating fatigue. You’ll feel hungrier and crave even more sugar. Plus those rapidly absorbed extra calories are stored as fat, putting you at risk for obesity."

fruit

If you want a sweet treat without all of the simple sugars, try eating fruit! Fruits are tasty, and filled with all of the essential vitamins and minerals needed for a happy and healthy body. Remember, you are what you eat, so make the right choices!
