Even though it was over five years ago, I will always remember unpacking for my first day of college–whilst cramming all my zany dresses and bright blazers into my inanely miniscule dorm closet, my new roommate remarked, “Wow! What fun costumes you have!” I accepted her compliment, neglecting to tell her that they were actually just my clothes.
But this got me thinking–why not take every sartorial overstatement you own, and actually rock it as a costume?
