Yes, the girl who gyrated in underwear in front of the entire world gets embarrassed sometimes, and the tongue out is a telltale sign Miley’s feeling uneasy.
In her “10 Most Fascinating People” interview with Barbara Walters, she admitted: “I get embarrassed to take pictures. That’s actually the truth. I’m so embarrassed, because people are taking pictures of me, and I just don’t know how to—I don’t know how to smile, and just be awkward, so I stick my tongue out, because I don’t know what else to do.”
That’s actually somewhat relatable and endearing, and better than doing the Ashlee Simpson jig. Will people ease up on the Miley Cyrus tongue memes now? (We doubt it.)
